Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Payroll Specialist to accurately and on time process employee payroll. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling payroll calculations, maintaining employee compensation records, ensuring statutory compliance, and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
The Payroll Specialist will collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations, accurate reporting, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labour laws
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Education + Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role
- Experience with payroll systems and compliance reporting preferred
- Professional certification in payroll or HR (preferred but not mandatory)
